About Me
Here are a few things about me
I've been a professional photographer pretty much all my working life. It has taken me all over the world working for a wide range of clients.
A the age of 10 my mother lent me her instamatic camera for a week long school trip, I was hooked. Much to her dismay the spending money I had been given was spent on more film that she then had to pay to process.
I have many interests in life, some have come and gone some endure but for me photography is the one thing that I can't put down. It's the driving force behind so many things I do.
The architecture around us has alway fascinated me from ancient Rome, to the clean lines and engineering marvels of today. I try in my photography to convey that enthusiasm for the design and construction skill that has gone into our built environment.
One of the many pleasures in architectural photography is to meet the people who are responsible for the creation of these buildings. I think it's great to hear how the concepts have come to life through the drive of these talented people.

Individual
Approach
To The Choice
Of Style
As An architerctural photographer I try to approach all my projects with an ambition to produce eye catching images with the minimum of clutter and distractions. I believe simple is better, focusing on the Architects design and the builders craft. .
One of the first building blocks of architectural photography is great light, which in Britain certainly can be a challenge but with planning and patience it can be done.
Secondly I think that a sound foundation in the technical aspects of this sphere of photography is essential. The years of practical application have ensured that this side of my work is second nature. .
Having started my career in the days of film and going right through to the present day , keeping abreast of the new technology has alway been important for me and my clients. I pride myself on providing work of the highest standard suitable for any form of reproduction from powerpoint to high resolution large format prints.
